Mr. CHRISTOPHER CHAI, was graduated from Middlesex University, United Kingdom with BSc (Hons) in Information Communication Technology and Business Information System. Mr. Chai has more than 16 years of exposure in the IT field both in technical and as well as in business development role.
Mr. Chai started off his career as a Data Capture Engineer in one of the local company servicing BCB Bank nationwide. Being a technical background who is passionate about effective communication, leadership and teamwork, he strived to pursue the role of Partner Account Management and Pre-Sales in MNC companies such as ACA, Microsoft and Dell. He spearheaded a new product in Asia Pacific region focusing on selling, solution training and operation across 7 countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan and assisting APAC.
Mr.Chai passionate about technology including IoT, AR, Mobile development and digital marketing. He embraced Mobile app development since 2014 and provided training workshops for secondary school students as well as the Ministry of Defence IT department. He is one of the contestants in the 1AES Silicon Valley Hackathon for mobile app development (MAD). He represented Malaysia and achieved the Top 5 finalist hackathon for ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) in 2020 for a tourism-related problem statement.
He currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer of Apploqic Technologies. Apploqic Technologies specialized in Software Customization, Mobile App Development, Website Development, Social Media Marketing, Identity Access Management, Network Security and System Management Appliance. He passed IT Professional certification exams such as Microsoft Azure and Comptia papers.
Mr. Chai spent his leisure time in reading and researching on technology trends and transformations. He envisaged that technological advancement will help to benefit business and society.
